Senior Manager of Human Capital
Courtney leads the development and implementation of Good Reason Houston’s human capital strategy to ensure that every child in Houston has access to game-changing educators.
Prior to joining Good Reason Houston, Courtney launched Teach For America’s pre-service training program in Dallas – Fort Worth which brought in 400 high-quality educators to the area and impacted nearly 30,000 students. During her time at TFA, Courtney also oversaw the development of teacher training and student-facing curriculum, as well as directly coached new teachers.
Courtney began her career as a middle school math teacher in Dallas ISD. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s of Arts in STEM Education from Southern Methodist University.
