Good Reason Houston supports launch of ACE in Aldine ISD

Good Reason Houston partnered with Aldine ISD to launch the Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) model at two Aldine ISD schools, Goodman and Worsham Elementary Schools in the 2019-20 school year. The ACE model is based on five pillars that, when implemented with fidelity, have been proven to dramatically improve student outcomes:

• Effective Principals and Teachers
• Instructional Excellence
• Extended School Day
• Social and Emotional Support
• Parent and Community Partnerships

The model, which brings the most accomplished educators to the most struggling schools, has seen dramatic success in several North Texas districts. Aldine ISD is the first Houston-area school district to take this bold action and demonstrate that it is possible for all students to succeed, regardless of their background.
