HISD Reference Guide

We hope this data will equip parents, district decision makers, and the broader Houston community with the quality information needed to provide every child, in every neighborhood of HISD, with a high quality public education.

Rallying Houstonians For Change

At the same time, we build and advocate for an agenda that holds leaders accountable to and enables quality and equity, informed by our work with school districts and shaped by the voices of families, community leaders, and business leaders.

Teacher Talent Campaign

Houston Loves Teachers was developed by the College Football Playoff Foundation, Good Reason Houston and the 2024 CFP National Championship Host City Committee to bolster the PK-12 education workforce in Houston through a community-wide initiative. This campaign is targeted at public school educators in the greater Houston area, present and future. In an effort to elevate the teaching profession and support current teachers, our goal is to create an enabling environment in Houston where teachers thrive. Join us in making Houston the greatest place for teachers.

State of Schools Luncheon

In 2021, the Go Somewhere campaign was launched as a region-wide effort to support districts in driving enrollment back to pre-pandemic levels. In coordination with nine Houston-area districts, we manage this pre-K awareness campaign to ensure that parents who qualify for free pre-K in our area have access to enroll.
