Lloyd has raised millions of dollars in the education sector and brings a decade of experience
to the nonprofit’s Chief Advancement Officer role
HOUSTON – OCTOBER 3, 2024 – Kaneisha Lloyd has joined Good Reason Houston as Chief Advancement Officer, concluding the education nonprofit’s nationally competitive recruiting effort. Known for raising millions of dollars at distinguished organizations across the country, Lloyd will lead Good Reason Houston’s development strategy to help drive positive student outcomes for Houston students.
Lloyd brings more than a decade of experience in donor management, strategic communications, and fundraising to the Chief Advancement Officer role. Her impressive career spans influential roles at prestigious organizations such as the University of Oklahoma, the Collegiate School of Memphis, Baylor University, and Houston Landing. With her extensive background in education, community outreach, and advocacy, Lloyd is poised to make a significant impact on Good Reason Houston’s mission to empower students and families in the Houston area.

In her pivotal new role, Lloyd will oversee the advancement department, spearheading innovative fundraising strategies that reflect the organization’s ambitious philanthropic priorities.
As a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, Kaneisha takes pride in the storytelling and branding of mission-driven organizations to build meaningful relationships for constructive community impact.
