Why Pre-K Matters
Why Pre-k Matters
The years before kindergarten are some of the most critical for your child’s brain development. What they learn now — how to listen, problem-solve, communicate, and build confidence — shapes how they learn for the rest of their life.
Research shows that children who attend Pre-K are:
- Better prepared for reading and math in elementary school
- More likely to graduate high school and go on to college
- More likely to earn higher wages as adults
Pre-K isn’t just school. It’s a head start on everything.
What Your Child Will Learn
In a quality Pre-K program, your child learns through stories, songs, games, and exploring the world around them. By the time they enter kindergarten, they’ll have a strong foundation in:
- Getting along with classmates
- Letters and numbers
- Language and communication
- Problem-solving
- Following directions
