The Public Education Leadership Council (PELC) is a selective leadership program that prepares civic, community, nonprofit, business and education leaders to serve as informed trustees, advocates and advisors for Houston’s public schools. The inaugural cohort runs November 2026 through May 2027, and applications are open now.
