The Good Reason Houston team attended the OneGoal Pathways of Promise Luncheon on Wednesday, where our CEO, Cary Wright, spoke on a panel alongside leaders from OneGoal and Spring Branch ISD. He provided critical regional context on the state of education and workforce readiness in Houston, highlighting the scale of the city and key data on postsecondary enrollment, credential attainment, and living wage outcomes.
“To build a stronger future for Houston, we need to ensure more students are prepared for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand jobs,” Wright said. “Right now, too few students are earning the credentials that align with these opportunities, and that gap has long-term implications for our region’s economic growth.”
