Good Reason Houston serves hundreds at spring community fair

On Saturday, March 26, Good Reason Houston hosted a community fair in collaboration with their Blueprint coalition of community organizations. The resource fair took place at First Methodist Church, where 200 boxes (12,00 pounds) of food were distributed. Neighbors and families came from Gulfton, Westchase, Fifth Ward, and nearby areas to access the food donations and talk with representatives providing health, financial, housing, furniture, mental health, and other assistance.

The Children’s Museum, a Blueprint partner, donated 1,000 tickets to ensure families could visit for free this spring and summer. Amazon’s charitable division distributed coupons for Fresh and Prime. Visit our events page to learn more about future community resource fairs around Houston.
