Good Reason Houston, the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFPF), and the 2024 Houston Host Committee launched Houston Loves Teachers, a community-wide outreach and support initiative for educators in Houston. The campaign kicked off with a series of giveaways during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8-12) and a party dedicated to Houston’s teachers.
Highlights from Teacher Appreciation Week:
- A total of 171 teacher winners
- $100,000 in giveaways at the Houston Loves Teachers Launch Party
- Over 20 organizations participated in giveaways during the week, including Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo and Dash, Houston’s Children Museum, Houston Ballet, Agricole Hospitality Group, Houston YMCA, Houston Zoo, and more.
